For elopements and intimate weddings, I would highly suggest reaching out as soon as possible after setting your date. As of right now I am fully booked until September 2024.

With that being said, as long as I am available on your date, you can book at any time.

I will travel as far as your love wants to go! Traveling is one of my biggest passions so no matter what location you have in mind, I probably want to shoot there just as bad as you want your photos!

For out-of-state and international travel fees, I require you to pay for my flights and a 2-night stay at a hotel depending on location (don’t worry, I’m not a first class flight or 5-star hotel kinda girl). I will choose a flight and hotel that works for me, and as long as it works for you too, you’ll cover the cost and we’re all set!

If I’m already going to be in an out-of-state or international location, there will be no fees for your session there. Be sure to check out the travel dates on my website!

Absolutely! I love getting to know my couples a little bit before we shoot together. It helps everybody relax a bit once they’re finally in front of the camera.

I’m more than happy to meet you for a coffee or brewery date to chat a bit before your big day! We can also schedule a phone call to go over all of the details if you’ll be visiting from out of town.

For sure! I can give recommendations for any vendor that you’re looking for (annnnd who to maybe avoid as well). I’m lucky to have a great working relationship with so many other wedding vendors all over the world and I will never recommend someone that I wouldn’t trust to use myself!

NO. Couples sessions are for casual shoots and engagements only. I understand that you sometimes may only need an hour or so of coverage for your elopement, and I know it may not seem like it, but trust me when I say that a lot more work goes into elopements for me than just a casual couples session. I’m happy to create a custom elopement package if needed, but anything wedding related cannot be booked as a couples session. I promise this is just to ensure that you have the best elopement experience possible! Be sure to ask for my full elopement pricing guide when you inquire, I do have a 1-hour elopement package available!

While I can’t guarantee a specific amount of photos for each session, I do typically deliver around 60 photos for each hour of shooting. Keep in mind that these numbers will depend on the flow of the session and your final gallery may have more or less than stated here.

Of course! Location scouting is one of my favorite things about this job. I love finding unique locations and hidden gems for my clients! I can also help with any permits that may be required for shooting.

Already have your dream location in mind? Awesome! I’ll do all of the research for you so we can all know what to expect when shooting there.

YES! I will always recommend shooting right around sunrise or sunset. This is the only time of day that you’ll be able to get that dreamy golden hour glow in your photos, which is what most people want. It also helps avoid harsh shadows and lighting (trust me, it makes a big difference). If you’re okay with the early wake-up call for a sunrise shoot, it also helps avoid any crowds if we’re shooting in a popular location.

But, with that being said, we can absolutely shoot at any time of day if those times don’t work for you. I’m confident shooting in any lighting situation, even in the dark! Just expect the lighting in your photos to be a little less *dreamy*.

Stick to your everyday style! Choose something that works for you and how you like to express yourself. If you book a session that includes an outfit change, I would suggest wearing one casual outfit and one that’s a bit more dressy (maybe you have a nice dress or suit that you haven’t had a reason to wear yet!?).

Just wear whatever makes you feel the most comfortable. You’ll definitely want to be able to move around in whatever you wear, and if you’re extremely uncomfortable during the shoot.. that will show in your photos!

As of right now I am only taking bookings for couples and intimate elopements. For me, the most important part of my job is the relationship that I create with my couples and the experience that I can provide for them. This is why I’m only taking bookings for shoots that really allow me to focus on that. Don’t worry, you can still have a few guests at your elopement, too!

All couples will receive a sneak peek gallery within a few days. Please allow 8-10 weeks for the full gallery to be delivered. Please know that this is only an estimate, and no official delivery date can be promised, to ensure that the editing of your photos is not rushed. All galleries are edited in order, and I want to give every single one of your photos the time and attention that they deserve!

YES! I understand that payment plans can make things so much easier and I’m super open to working with all couples on this.

Don’t forget to ask about my military discounts as well! I offer 15% off of any session for all active duty and veteran military couples.

*Military status must be mentioned before booking to receive the discount!

I shoot with a Sony a7iii and typically use my Sony g-master 35mm f/1.4 or 24-70mm f/2 lens. For a full list of my equipment and gear, check out the about page on my website.

Short answer: yes. Long answer: yes IF you are willing to work with me and have a little trust. Candid, storytelling type photos require us to work together. I can guide you into tons of different poses and positions but only you can provide the emotion and movements behind it all. Some couples just aren’t ever fully relaxed enough in front of the camera to really have those candid moments AND THAT’S OKAY, we will still get tons of great photos. But, in order to actually have those cute, candid little in-between moments captured, you need to allow your personalities to shine and just be yourselves. If I put you into a prompt or pose and you immediately look at me after like “okay, what next?” that won’t get those candid moments for you. You have to be fully present in the moment and allow yourselves to act however you would if I wasn’t there. Remember that candid photos are NOT POSED. If I put you into a “pose” and you just naturally feel like moving into a kiss, moving your partner’s hair out of their face, or doing something to make your partner giggle, DO IT. If we’re in between prompts or walking to the next location, just continue interacting with each other. That is what will get you the cute candid style photos!

I require a 50% retainer in order to book with me. This retainer is non-refundable unless our session is canceled for a reason outside of both of our control. Don’t worry, I’m really flexible with rescheduling! As long as we can find another date that works for both of us, rescheduling is no problem.

Yes! 9 times out of 10, my husband (Matt) will be at our shoot with us. You’ll quickly see that he comes in VERY handy! Whether it’s carrying your purse or extra pair of comfy shoes, grabbing us cold water when it’s toasty out, or handing you wet wipes and paper towels after you pop the champagne.. he helps with it all!

Absolutely not. I’ll never send unedited RAW files. A RAW image file is an unfinished piece of art and it does not accurately represent me or my business. I pour my soul into editing, please trust my creativity. If you don’t like my editing style, please don’t hire me as your photographer!

I want you to choose me as your photographer because you love my work, and because you trust that I can make it a great experience for you. I always do everything that I can to make sure that my couples are comfortable and having fun during our shoots (even chaotic wedding days!) and I never deliver work that I don’t personally feel is top quality.

Send me a message today and see if you think we’ll be a good fit!
