I will simply never get over this destination wedding in Ireland with Meghan and Jimmy! I first took photos with these two in Pittsburgh back in 2021. Since then, we’ve traveled all over the world together and taken photos in so many different fun locations. This was our second time in Ireland together – the first was for their proposal at the Cliffs of Moher in 2023! Meghan always dreamed of getting married on 5/25/25, and I love that they actually made it happen.
We started with a few getting ready photos at Meghan & Jimmy’s hotel in Belfast. Then, we traveled out to Dunluce Castle for the ceremony. After a few group and family photos, I left with just the couple for photos at White Rocks Beach, the Dark Hedges, and even a few in Downtown Belfast before their wedding reception at Tetto Lounge. The weather forecast was telling us that it would rain all day long, so we were prepared for the worst. But, the rain always seemed to stop just in time for us to take photos in each location. While we were at the reception venue, we even noticed a double rainbow in the sky!
Meghan and Jimmy decided not to do the traditional wedding reception, and purposely chose a venue without a dance floor. Instead, they created their own version of a wedding game night, complete with prizes for the top three winners. They even created their own trivia game with questions all about their relationship and their favorite things! It was so much fun and such a unique way to celebrate their wedding day.
