I was so stoked to work with Talisa and Donnie again at their Paiute Golf Resort wedding! These two were so chill the entire time and had the absolute best day laughing and crying together. They were both so emotional when they shared personal vows with one another, as well as during speeches by friends and family. But, for most of the day, they were just extremely giggly and so excited to be married and celebrate with loved ones.
We started the day with just a few getting ready photos and detail shots, before Talisa and Donnie’s first look. Donnie was immediately OBSESSED as soon as he saw Talisa in her dress (as he should be, of course). After the first look, we took some photos with the wedding party and all of their sponsors (godparents). Then, just a moment to rest (and for Talisa, to fix a broken nail!) before walking down the aisle.
During the ceremony, the entire group had the most iconic entrance songs. However, the star of the show was the young ring bearer who had the most important job of protecting the rings in his security case. Talisa and Donnie also included the foot washing tradition in their ceremony. They did this while two family members played music and sang for them, which was so beautiful.
After another round of family photos and a few portraits during sunset, everyone was ready to party. They all enjoyed a nice dinner and a few champagne toasts, and then everyone hit the dance floor. These are just a few highlights and favorites from this Paiute Golf Resort wedding – I hope you love the photos just as much as I loved photographing this day!
